Well since the movie in our previous blog was already made, we decide to ditch it and start The Dog Aquatic. Hopefully there’s no other movie like this one

We celebrated the 4th of July by heading down to San Diego to hang out with the 5&A Dime crew. Their 8th annual 4th of July celebration was held at the Palomar hotel, instead of the waterfront this year.
Plenty of stars and stripes could be found.
5&A Dime presents Hi-Dive!
But absolutely No Diving!
A bag load of squirt guns always leads to fun
This beach ball took forever for Jay to blow up.
This pool is begging for a cannon ball.
Nick, Omar, and the stay dry crew.
Gee before…
Jason Waterfalls bringing the jams.
Repping the new 5&A Dime Pennant tee
Bert bringing the squirt
Roof top hangs
Zach arrived and made me wish I had pre-ordered the new Every Time I Die album. Their custom jersey is pretty awesome.
Hi-Dive was fun, but all things have to eventually wind down.
…What became of the giant beach ball that took Jay forever to blow up.
Gee after…
After Hi-Dive and some dinner, we all walked the dogs down to the waterfront to catch the fireworks.
…And so ends another 4th of July!

Another weekend came and went, but Ruxton and I decided to take advantage of it and head down to San Diego.
We were greeted by Doug and Roxy
After a long wait in traffic, and slightly shorter wait to park… We finally made it to the Del Mar Fair
Where do we even begin?
It didn’t take us long to decide that the first stop should be fair food.
And when you visit a fair, you can’t just eat the first thing you see. You’re going to have to walk around the grounds before deciding.
We ended up taking two cars. Jay got stuck in traffic and finally joined us in the search for fair foods. (We ate, but weren’t opposed to eating again)
Since Jay was late to the game, he had some catching up to do. Unfortunately he made the rookie mistake of eating fried food too fast.
Crossing the horse racing tracks to inspect every inch of this fair.
…And then we found some fun stuff
Of course, locked up as it should be.
We stumbled across half of Anakin’s podracer.
Del Mar endorses “the selfie”
As the sun went down, the crew had succumbed to brightly colored prizes and flashes lights.
The trick is to buy a $10 bin of balls and toss the entire basket all at once.
That technique really does work, ask Josh and Zach
This is what you win, when you don’t use the previously mentioned technique.
Moving on. It was time to see what kind of rides the fair had to offer.
It’s hard to walk of this food when there’s just more food along the way.
Zombies!
The crew gathered for one final round of greasy snacking.
Decisions, decisions
bubbles!
We ate so much fair food, I swear it seemed a little tighter in Spayde’s Fiat.
I have no idea how Ruxton does it. But he senses when I’m outside of Jays pad.

Saturday Ruxton and I woke up early to run down to Vista, CA to check out the HRE Open House.
Zero traffic made the journey a lot easier. After seeing the streets filled with modded cars, we finally found tons of parking in an adjacent building.
Upon arriving, we searched for our good friends in the Motor Union tent. We were distracted by a few nice cars.
I really dig this color, there were also a bunch of other bright colors that looked awesome on show cars. But I think I’ll always have to go with black.
After circling the whole warehouse, we found the tent inside. It was actually where we started, but we never thought to look inside for a tent. We met up with the boys in Motor Union. Pizza and jokes soon ensued.
After meeting up with the guys, we walked around again to get a better look at some of the cars. Accuair had a nice fleet.
After searching we finally found a car that was Ruxton sized. Thanks Nick Vuong for the photo.
I’m glad to see that more dogs are making it out to these shows.
Crooks & Castles had a nice fleet of their own. This Lamborghini was sitting on new HRE wheels.
After the show we headed down to San Diego to hang out at 5&A Dime. I finally had a chance to grab of bunch of gear from their new reset.
After hanging out in the shop for a while and talking to some customers, we went next door to Jason’s apartment. Ruxton spent most of the day chasing around Doug the Pug. Roxanne watched most of the time.
Roxanne must have grown tired of watching the two chase eacho ther around all day. Every time I sat on the couch, Roxanne would come and position herself as a neck pillow. Now that’s service.
After chatting, playing Mario Kart, eating ice cream, taking dog walks, and watching top fails of 2012 and 2014 it was time to journey home, but we’ll be back soon.

I guess we had a little bit too much fun on our vacation. But we’re back here to our regularly scheduled blogging! We hope everyone had a great Holiday!
We got a visit from Santa. He brought milk bones and squeaky toys for all!
Busy as little elves in the North Pole
Our sugar cookies turned out to be as hard as bricks
…and that would be Jordan’s giant mango cake. Don’t ask too many questions about what you’re eating and you’ll be fine.

Today Jordan picked me up to check out the Irezumi art show. The show is located at Space 15 Twenty in Los Angeles. And after uploading these photos, I realize I should have taken down the artist names to go with the images. But I suggest going to the show to check out the art in person.

On Saturday my barber Vinnie and Main Street Elite SC, hosted a fund raising event. The event was for a boy named Jonathon, who is battling Leukemia.
The barbershop was overflowing with people

A few cuss words from Sam later, and it’s all finished
It was a very successful night. In the end we were able to raise over $2600 for Jonathon. Thank you to everyone who could make it out.

Last weekend Paul of AONO invited me to hang out with him in Vegas. AONO and The Abandon Ship Apparel boys flew over for Agenda, but had a lot of time set aside for some fun.
Duncan, Paul, Richard, and myself grabbing some lunch.
Mark and Simon unintentionally kept dressing the same throughout the trip!
I finally got to see Paul’s new back piece.
The painted sky was freaking out the drunk boys. We thought Junior was going to fall in while taking this picture.
Duncan always finds the mobility scooters
He always finds the nearest bar as well
Who let them sort out the bill?
The view from the room
Paul’s AONO Script logo snapback and our “Trippy Drippy” tee
Paul repping our AONOxTCC collab tee
Luckily our pup Ruxton wasn’t here to pee on these Bush People!
Playing sardines in the taxi on the way to the shooting range.
That’s quite the menu. I decided to go for the WWII package (Thompson, M1-Garand, MP-40). I’ve always loved watching WWII movies, and playing Call of Duty in my friend’s garage.
Amazing
Paul and the ammo
Gun laws in the UK are very strict, so this was a blast for Paul.
Paul’s reaction to automatic gunfire.
I finally got to shoot the garand
Head shots! I pronounce this zombie dead!
Repping our “Watch Your Back” tee
“Today was a good day… But I had to use my AK”
Finally shooting the Thompson.
Why wasn’t this on the menu?
We went back to the hotel and the Abandon Ship boys found us drinking Cokes at the pool bar.
Probably not the optimal position for comfort
After I got lost, I met up with the boys at Wet Republic.
Looks like it’s time to play sardines again
Farewell Vegas!
Hello rain, and soon to come… Traffic!
At least there was lighting to watch for almost 2 hours
Thanks a lot to Paul of AONO and Richie and Duncan of Abandon Ship Apparel for inviting me out!

Sometimes when you sample custom materials, you get left overs. This print was way too large for our pocket tees, but we found another use for it.

Here’s a little preview of a tee in the works. The inspiration came from my backyard pal, Bert.
Bert loves cat food.
I like starting my ideas out in my trusty sketchbook.
Our “Play Dead” tee features Bert’s funny side. Playing dead with a dagger under her arm, and a fake arrow headband.
